About No Boss News

Time-Warner hasn't been returning my phone calls, so NBN is still funded by whatever donations materialize. On that note, I would especially like to thank East Wind Community and Judy Millikan for their conspicuous generosity and everyone else who has supported the project. Relevant want-ads are also being accepted; pay whatever you think it is worth. If you want to stay on the mailing list, just let me know, or this issue may be your last. Back issues are available upon request.

A library is developing as well: If anyone is interested in creating or receiving a series of one-page leaflets detailing aspects of cooperatives, please let me know. Examples of possible topics include:

* The How and Why of Consensus

* Cooperative Legal Structures

* History of Cooperatives

* Recent Experiments of Form

* How to Organize a Co-op

In addition, I refer people to books and articles for all levels of interest. Correspondence of all sorts is encouraged, but please specify if you send something intended for printing in the next issue, and perhaps include a phone number in case clarification is needed. If a submission is much over 1000 words, I may need to shorten it or make other arrangements, so contact information is crucial.

Overall response has been good, but I am still avidly seeking a co-producer. The original intent was to have this be a group effort, and it feels odd to do this thing on co-ops by myself. Quarterly seems over-ambitious, so let's just try semi-annually for the next one. Realistic goals tend to be more easily kept.
