Rock-N-Romp presents Neal Pollack and Thrushes

Saturday Feb 23, 10AM @ 2640 (2640 St. Paul St.)

Rock-n-Romp productions specializes in putting on kid-friendly rock shows, for parents who can't make it out to late night shows and their kids who'd get trampled if they came along.  We're super excited to welcome a special morning Rock-n-Romp show  with Baltimore's own  Thrushes. plus a special appearance by author Neal Pollack, reading from his book Alternadad.

Rock-n-Romp is a family friendly concert series started in the DC area that showcases fantastic local musicians and bands, and now has outposts in Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Memphis and Philadelphia. Shows are held during the day in a relaxed, kid-safe environment, and while the volume is low, the music still ROCKS. You may hear a kiddie song every once in a while, but these shows are about the kind of music you listened to BEFORE YOU HAD KIDS. Kids enjoy the watching the bands, experiment with instruments, dance, or just run around and hang out, and parents get the ever-so-rare opportunity to see a great live show and hang out with other like-minded parents. Romps give parents who miss their social life a chance to get out, enjoy some music that might be new to them, and expose their kids to great bands in a safe, friendly environment.
