Santi School fundraiser

Please join us for the third annual Santi School Project Silent Art Auction!  The Santi School Project is a non-profit organization developed to build primary schools in Nepal.  The organization is currently operating a school for 60 students in the rural village of Ramche, Nepal.  The auctions of 2007/2008 funded the construction of the school building, two teacher salaries, and educational supplies.  This year, they hope to raise the necessary money to sustain the success of their first school and to begin planning the construction of another school in a needed area.  Free admission, food and drinks, with live music from the Frontier Dentists and the Haunts!  For more information about the Santi School Project, please go to www.santischool.org.

Red Emma's is open Monday through Friday from 10AM-10PM, Saturday from 10AM-8PM, and Sunday from 10AM-6PM. Our weekly collective meetings are Sunday at 7PM, and are open to anyone interested in the project, except for the first Sunday of every month, which is closed to everyone except collective members. Red Emma's is part of IU 660 of the Industrial Workers of the World, one of the only unions to recognize that worker collectives can stand in solidarity with those fighting the bosses as part of one big union.
